Sunny Skies at the First of Two February Play 9 - Score 36 Events!
A massive thank you to everyone who kicked off February by joining us for our second Play 9 - Score 36 of the year, the sun was shining on our 17 participants!
Coaches Thomas Bell & Mike McNally joined our teams out on the course to provide some helpful coaching on shots throughout the rounds, as well as key play tactics and advice.
As we see the events progress, our regular players are advancing through the levels and starting off further from the hole. This brings new goals and fresh new challenges. Great news is that 7 individuals achieved par 36 or better, advancing to the next level.
Special congratulations to Amy Cox who played her first ever 9 holes of golf. Amy started off from Level 0, at the edge of the green, and putted a very impressive 35 (-1 under par). We can’t wait to see you back for Level 1! It was a successful family morning as John Cox, Amy’s Dad, also scooped up the Lowest Adult Score with 29 (-7 under par) at his first event.
Another special shoutout to Craig Morrison, who has dedicated his weekends to this event and his own personal progression. He has once again shot an outstanding level par 36 to become the first ever player to reach and pass Level 5 – the full Templar course experience. Craig will now progress to Level 6 - on main course this summer!
The current season will end on Saturday, 1st March, which means there are only 2 more events for you come see what the event is all about or to pick up order of merit points! Make sure you're signed up to the last two events so that you can score more order of merit points!
We will shortly be publishing the 2025 fixtures which kick off in April.
